bethvw - You are so right, family can provide a grounding when things are not working out the way you planned. I agree with you about nature as well. I remember stopping at the ocean in winter and early in the morning in summer, just to feel the pounding waves and look at the never ending horizon! Nature puts things back in perspective. “Centering” describe what being immersed in nature does does for the body and soul. Thank you for your thoughtful ideas!

asmalltowndad - Other than my family, nature is my inspiration spiritually and creatively. Whether it’s setting on waters edge of a lake or ocean, or in a woods listening to the sounds and it’s visual wonders, it seems to bring me back to earth and calm.
