Karen rennna - I was trying to respond to the newest blog with the sumptuous rendering of pines and trees in a summer wind. Somehow I ended up in the warm quiet evening scene which is not where my head is but I guess my heart took me there, maybe to quiet my inner voice. Anyway, my creativity too never ceases when I allow myself to see beyond the triflings of house and job. When I am truly beyo d the wear and tear of a moment I can even see the beauty and simplicity of the very thing that I detest doing… Like the dishes that are calling me…and the wet laundry…. And the lesson plans… But while I drive today to visit my mom, I will have my iPad and I will be drawing and thinking about the lushness of charcoal and India Ink and the sensuality of clay

Laura - I read the link to Scott Belsky and read his thoughts. Then listened to the speech Steve Jobs gave at Standford. Both were helpful to me and filled with inspiration.
Clarity–maintaining focus when the challenges that arise say ‘this will never be possible’. Seeking clarity and being true to the vision that resonates within. This is what I want to strive for in every moment.
