Be creative like Rocco Landesman in the NEA

“Not all of us are painters, but we are all artists. Each time we fit things together we are creating-whether it is to make a loaf of bread, a child, a day.”
Corita Kent…. Do not be afraid of trying a new idea, making a mistake, thinking outside the box, like Rocco Landesman!

chironarts - I thought those legs looked familiar. !!!! Yes, there is Art is OYB! And Art is each and every one of us. Kinda-like-sorta…. a heartbeat ! :)

beth - You are so right, Laura! It helps us to see the connections as we travel shoulder to shoulder with others through this life.

Laura - Perceiving all of us as creating and all of us as artists in progress is warm and imparts dignity. I really like this reminder. We are all weaving together…it looks rather disjointed from the underside but how great to look at the other side:)

bethvw - Stef, Changing your perspective can transform your life. I know you know that!

bethvw - I love to think of you ribbon weaving with a smile on your face! You are so right that even changing materials can create a whole new perspective? How has the experience with Jewelry making affected your ribbon work?
Can you show an example of a change brought on by switching materials for a while?

Stef - Beth, you have the right idea! I also really needed to hear this right now… Thanks. : )

Sally - A change of scene, or just materials, can be a boon to creativity. I’ve just gotten back to my ribbons after several months of jewelry-making. I think I was smiling all day yesterday.

beth - Love it, Nina! If you can’t go anywhere right now, you can change how you look at where you are!

Nina - Lovely! Looking for that special place now. Thank you :)
