Monthly Archives: September 2008So it seems in my life that the raw material that I need to be most cognizant of for creating my work, is time. I need to ask myself: When is the best time to work? How much time do I need? Can I break time down into small segments that will allow me room… show 1 comment Thank you, Beth. Good thoughts create more good thoughts and 43 folders with Mr Merlin is very thought provoking. More pertinent to your blog is this lovely painting!!! Very still. Beautifully still. Thank you !!! Kathy - Laura sent me to your blog/website—lovely work, well spoken thoughts. I get waylaid by trees, their trunks & branching parts & paint them often. I know the arboretum at Planting Fields well, spent many hours drawing there when my kids were at CSH Lab summer camps.
Keep painting! Your oils show the influence of your watercolor work, lovely fluid layers.

Trisha - I’m all for keeping the trees around…….these drawings are so beautiful, Beth. I’ve always loved trees – especially the old ones – so full of wisdom and you’ve captured them so well here.
Love, Trisha
Carole Freysz Gutierrez - Beth – I love your trees!! You have the talent to capture their nature not only artistically , but also spiritually. Thank you!
